In addition, the product undergoes independent third party analysis for purity. If, for any reason, product does not meet pharmaceutical standards, the formula does not leave our facility.

headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ is manufactured from 100% natural products, in an FDA-approved facility that conforms to or exceeds all Natural Products Association (NPA) current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). A GMP compliance certificate is issued by the Quality Control Manager, for each batch of headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ manufactured and released. After manufacture, headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ is stored in a climate-controlled facility to ensure sustained freshness and potency.

headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ is tested for the appropriate disintegration and dissolution times. Disintegration is the physical breakdown of the formula. The goal is to break down the formula in 30 minutes or less after swallowing. Dissolution occurs after the disintegration process when the nutrients go into solution and become available to your body. The goal is to have a minimum of 75% of the active ingredient absorbed into your body's system within 45 minutes.

How do I take headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™?

Take two capsules twice a day with plenty of water. As with prescription drugs for the treatment of OCD, it may take three or four weeks before you start to notice the improvement. If you notice any minor adverse effects, such as headaches, stop taking it for a few days then resume taking it daily.

It's recommended that you take headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ six days per week, with a day off to prevent tolerance development.

Is headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ safe for children?

Yes.

headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ can be used to safely treat OCD in children and teenagers. As with all herbal supplements, a small dose of one or two capsules daily should be tried first and only increased to four capsules per day if needed. The capsules can be opened and the contents put in juice if the child has difficulty swallowing them.

headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ is not suitable for infants or toddlers since they are too young to tell caregivers about any adverse reactions they might be experiencing.

What are possible side effects?

Many supplements and prescription drugs do not go well together; consult your health care professional especially if you are taking any prescription medication or have a serious medical condition. 

Any ingredient that can increase serotonin levels may cause a risk when taken with other antidepressant drugs.  headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ may pose a risk when taken with antidepressant drugs (e.g. monoamine oxidase inhibitors or MAOIs, SSRIs, tricyclic antidepressants, lithium, nefazodone,) or drugs that promote sleepiness (e.g. medications for insomnia, alcohol, tricyclic antidepressants).

Will taking this supplement cause me to weight gain?

No.

A number of prescription medications that act in the brain are associated with weight gain. headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ does not cause weight gain.

Are there any sexual side effects?

No.

Sexual side effects such as low libido (sex drive or desire), erectile dysfunction and inability to have an orgasm are known to occur with the popular prescription antidepressants of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor class (SSRIs). Low libido leading to lack of interest in sex may put a strain on intimate relationships. Sexual side effects have not been reported with headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™.

Is it addictive?

No.

Neither headSTRONG OCDEFENSE™ nor any of its ingredients have been demonstrated to have any addictive tendencies.
